The Torah is called the Torah of truth, as the Rebbe says, because it tells the truth, so I have considered/wondered, the bizarre statement, that God says, "I and an arrogant person cannot merge" – we know, God can merge with an idolater that is humble – So what’s going on? – Perhaps the answer is this – arrogance and humility is about internal space – we say about an arrogant person "he is full-of-himself" – an example I came up with, is, that the world is like a stage – everything you see, is on this stage! – now, you are also on this stage – Now, if you think you are "The Star!" then you are center-stage, hence, there is no space for anyone else
