The Time We Live In

We live in the most important time of human history, Rabbi Laible Wolf told me that the Previous Rebbe said, that it used to be, society was like a train between two cities, secular or traditional; but the fabric, the standards were quite simaler though the direction may have been subconsciously or even consciously diametrically opposed i.e. from morality to licentiousness; however, as Moshaich comes, we live in a new era, as the train pulls into the city, where there are countless destinations!

In other words, gone is the very standard, more of society; the crazier, more debased one is, the greater their new destination becomes – with confusion and chaos replacing standards and mores.

But of course, there is a very profound reason why God who ultimately is responsible for the chaos, as well as order, created the chaos in the first place!

And it all boils down to the notion which are sages teach, based on the prophecy about the coming of Moshiach and the Rebbe perhaps based his worldview on, namely, that we are in a era where people will come to God through love!

For this to happen it’s not enough – perhaps even counterproductive – that a society imposes its rigid, even if correct value system, rather people must be in a maze and grope along to find the truth, on their own!
