The three stages from hell to heaven

By zevi770 · May 2, 2014

There are three fundamental stages, represented in the three two thousand year periods: namely, creation/chaos – Torah – redemption

Without going into the great myriad and deep Kabbalah behind these three stages (for more info. and a concise summary, see this week’s Sichah, Emor – Nun Alef) it is:

First comes man’s primary conception of himself.

This is our identity – the very core belief, that we exist.

This is not as simple as it seems (but I don’t want to make this too lengthy.)

In childhood, this conception is formed – we are most certain that our existence is genuine.

The next is Torah, the learning of a higher system of morality, which we must subjugate our whims, impulses and foolish anger to.

But ultimately, this all is for the true goal of God, which is Moshiach!

This redemptive stage, succinctly is, when God leaves the realm of Torah and enters the realm of prophecy.

We know when Moshiach comes, we all, will be great prophets.

We know Moshiach – God’s essence has come.

But are you a great prophet? – certainly I am no prophet.

But there is another dimension to God, which includes all the qualities of God and none of the liabilities of man.

It’s presented in the letter Alef.

Alef meaning God, also can be rearranged to mean Peleh – wonder.

The God of Torah is no wonder – clearly defined, labeled, categorized laws of right and wrong, it’s like a law book.

But the God of redemption, is wondrous.

For the mechanism through which He communicates, combines two opposing dimensions.

Like light, on one hand God shall illuminate your life with ever increasing lessons in life (as mentioned, the Baal Shem Tov revealed – he was the beginning of the essence of God coming to humanity) “everything is a message” (if you are tuned into listening) yet simultaneously, there is no prophetic revelation – there are no Sinaic voices – for to have the benefit of God and the lack of liability of man (our foolish ego) God’s revelation is specifically done in a wondrous way.
