The three possibilities

By zevi770 · June 8, 2013

Us humans, have simply three operating systems and all, yes ALL, fall into one of these categories:

Hopefully, our mind controls our behavior, hence, we are making rational decisions!

Usually, our instincts for instinctual pleasure and fears (be it of pain or shame) control our mind’s thoughts; hence our actions.

However, amazingly, unlike an animal, a person has an ego – when the ego is activated – ironically, the strongest activating factor, is low self-esteem, hence, the ego gets busy with thoughts of one’s superiority to erase feelings of inferiority, but as we tend to believe our thoughts, not realizing they can actually come from instincts or a hurt, bruised, damaged self-esteem, hence, we actually begin to believe we are the person whom our thoughts tell us; as well as, ego can come from accomplishments; as well as in the bizarre cult called misnagdim where they sort of tell one another how “great they are!” hence, as people in any event enjoy superiority, this activates the ego; the sum total of the ego’s activation, is, now a person desires that their delusional self-image should be matched in the outside reality! and as no man is superior to another, hence, the amazing collusion between egotistical people, such as journalists and terrorists, for both identify with each other’s frustration! and ironically, hate, from jealousy, sweet-kind-people!
