The thin line

By zevi770 · October 25, 2015

Did you know there is a very thin line between love and hate, a nazi and a jew

You may think as we do, that the difference between civilian and barbarian is as wide as heaven but in truth it is so thin that you may be surprised

Reb Menachem Mendel of Kostzk said “What is the difference between one who loves truth or hates falsehood?” – quite a thin line indeed – but he answered “the one who loves truth will find truth, the one who hates falsehood, will find falsehood.”

You see, our heart has two gpss – the first is the gps of love, it is what we admire, what we revere, the second is the gps of hate, it’s what causes us fear, whether physical like a mosquito or emotional like (sometimes) people.

And once our gps is set, it drives our thoughts, to the extent like the new google cars, it automatically drives you in its direction.

So in the end of the day the most fundamental reality is to ensure that the gps driving you is love, which can only happen if you have no fear, which can only happen if you have faith that all that God does is for your either physical or emotional benefit or both.
