The ten most important qualities – # 1 a soul (you see, an animal is simply instinctive – a human (especially the potent Jewish soul, which is why we see so much compassion) has an innate desire to do what is good # 2 to be broken (for as long as we think, by following our civilization’s version of reality “all will be well…” whether like the Germans becoming Nazis, liberals becoming antisemites etc. we are fickle and feckle – The person whose been abused – must start to reconstruct truth independently) # 3 A relationship (without a relationship – not religion – but personal connection to and awareness of God – which as statistics show is happening in perhaps the largest numbers of human history – it is impossible, well to know) # 4 Determination (for even if you do know God, and you know what you must do, without courage you cannot – it is no accident that the very first Jewish law is to have courage) # 5 Action (even if you know and have courage, if you don’t actually do it! – it won’t get done – Many religious people wait for miracles – the miracle is that you have a clue and are empowered ! (Just remember when you had neither.) # 6 You are not God (knowing that you are not God. – If you are called to action, it is like a construction worker – the architect or project-manager – God – is running the show – you are only asked to do one thing (at a time)) # 6 Forgiveness (people are malicious so we should be angry – for misery loves company – As the Kabbalah masters said – anger is to deny God – for if we do believe, then obviously God knows; and if we are angry, we place our ego higher.) # 7 Seeing the good in the bad (unless we have a positive outlook we have a negative, and subconsciously we begin to become jealous of those who have a positive, then we begin to become malicious – bully.) # 8 Believe that one bright day – maybe TODAY! Moshiach will finally permanently alter the world (for only in hope can you have a positive present.) # 9 Give (even if it costs.) # 10 Be alert (all the time God is communicating – the world and your mission never ends.)
