The Summary Of The Rebbe’s Logical Life

By zevi770 · November 4, 2019

Many of us erroneously see the Rebbe as “larger than life” individual – like Moses, and as our sages say “the righteous, are like their Creator,” those with infinite capacity (so they are not stuck in their lofty ideas) are both at home in the highest heavens, and the basic minutia – as you may know, the Rebbe was an electrical engineer – he had a prodigious mind – and to the best of our knowledge there was no religious and scientific theory, paper, that he was not well versed.

What of-course is most unique about the Rebbe, is he unconditionally gave his entire life to the benefit of benefiting.

  1. Perhaps most importantly, the Rebbe’s view is, that everyone (in fact everything) is part of, well everything (and everyone!) in other words, like a symphony – each of us is an instrument – we each have a unique part – so number 1, know that you are here – in fact every moment – on a mission!
  2. It is obvious, that God nor his instructions, doesn’t change – hence, if we seek to understand – realize – become aware; we must dive – delve – discover – obviously, for a Jew, we have the 613 Mitzvos, and for a gentile the seven – within that, depending on circumstance, be it businessperson, scholar, male / female etc. etc.
  3. Delving into mysticism, the purpose of life, is unity – unity begins by seeing what we have in common – each and everyone one of us, are teammates – we’re all playing on the same team – furthermore as Jews, our souls all come from a single source.
  4. Now the Rebbe was inundated with questions: spiritual, medical, financial etc. – it is obvious he was aware that his soul was to ascend, and he left us four practical directives:

    1. Eat Healthy (prevent illness)

2. If you get ill – ask a doctor who is a friend and obey

3. For financial concerns ask a businessman who is a friend and obey

4. For spiritual/life concerns and direction, ask a mashpia, Chassidic friend who you maintain as your mentor – and by doing this, God is directing.

  • Ultimately we are – as we always have been, but so much more so now – within the Divine (messianic dimension) Life is about seeking, discovering, and infinitely joining.
