the summary of all experiences – all experiences fall into one of well perhaps millions of categories – but let me share with you what I believe are the core – the first is biological (hunger, fear, love lust) the second is (uniquely human, who have both a mind and a Divine spark) the search for meaning – now this is where it gets complicated – you see the question of course is, is there meaning? – in other words, there are thousands of different religions that have goals, so be it Christianity (believe in Jesus etc.) Islam (believe in Mohamed etc.) as well as secular goals, be it democracy (and the host of weird wacky current fads) In the end of the day, all of these are non-verifiable (for how many people have actually seen the positive results… as many live off the hopeful-high as they haven’t been to heaven) but then there is a new path paved by the Baal Shem Tov which completely revolutionized Judaism and in fact our entire perception of reality – I know of no other path (apart from new age thinking) which corresponds to it, and it is that this universe is a classroom and if you are listening to the master, He – not abrogating your freedom, but simply whispering truth – will always continually teach
