the stratum

By zevi770 · July 7, 2015

well, it is obvious, as every single philosophy, religion, psychology relays, the human being is comprised of different – often opposing desires

We shall map out the stratum

The stratum is the “hierarchy” of these desires

At the very core of existence, of-course is the love for oneself (which is why someone who his angry at themselves may and often, commits suicide – this is because the person see their body as themselves, and they are angry at their body – for example, a large percentage of those with bi-polar commit suicide – for the ego is angry at the body – in other words, firstly we are self-love – this is also why people who never developed self-love – like children in Russian orphanages, are basically catatonic)

However this self-love becomes confused, for the question then is (similar to the previous brackets) who or what is the self?

We see people willing to give their lives for religion, nationality, even strongly held beliefs – because they see these as being the self (whereas had they been born elsewhere or received a different education they wouldn’t.)

But there is still a deeper desire which trumps this selfish self-centered love – and that is the Divine spark – the search for the truth – Jewish people have an extra Divine soul, hence the tremendous Jewish search (for example they say, a full 40% of students in ashrams in the 70’s were Jews – they have also been the innovators of a number of ideologies – philosophies (Philo, who the name philosophy comes from was Jewish) Freud, Einstein, Marks; so we see this quest may lead to truth or mistakes, which is why God gave us Judaism – for only God really knows – as Einstein said, “we don’t know the secret of God, but when it does become revealed, I am sure it will be both simple and beautiful.”)
