The story is, that in the world, quite simply, as the Baal Shem Tov says, that God will send down a great soul who through his love will get everyone to do Teshuvah – return to God, but the Satan will say, “you created me for no reason,” hence, he’ll send down another soul, who will make fun of this great Tzaddik, and in our generation, obviously the Rebbe was the great soul whose love for all people brought hundreds of thousands of Jews and millions of gentiles back to God, and it leaves no great imagination, that the person whom the misnagdim revere, Rabbi Shach, was that soul to give people the freedom of choice, to choosing between the path of love / the path of arrogance.
