The State Of The Nation

Every year, around the world heads of states give a State OfThe Nationaddress in which they summarize the state or the hoped for, state of the nation.
I was thinking, if one had to give a state of the universe address, it would be something like this: but first, what would a state of the universe address be? Well just like a state of the nations, what is the unique time we are living in and where are we heading toward?
To understand anything, a person needs contrast, black without white is like white without black, very drab.
In the contrast of the past we will both understand the present as well as the future.
In the past people were very isolated, in the present people think globally, this trend towards seeing citizens of the world versus citizens of a particular country as being paramount is indicative of the messianic reality of one world serving one God under the leadership of one Rabbi / messiah!
In the past people believed that the person with the most power needed to be tolerated respected and perhaps revered, today people believe power corrupts, this trend is indicative of the messianic reality of a world that will need no weapons for the messiah will arbitrate all arguments and the world will only be seeking noble, spiritual pursuits such as understanding God.
