The soup

The soup

We have often mentioned that life is like a soup

To begin with, you have clear tasteless plain water

To begin with, you have a heart, fresh as unmarked snow, white as a sheet

This heart has two primary emotions

It has love and fear

Now unknown to you, you have two hearts (the right and left) the right heart loves the pleasure of spiritual truths (Don’t we all like to get inspired) and fears disconnect from truth

The left heart doesn’t give a red cent about spiritual truths; like all animals, it desires that which feels instinctively pleasurable (be it food, intercourse etc.) and abhors from what is feels painful (shame (for in the human animal, there is a desire for connection and hence those people who have disconnected from other humans called disassociation, use shame to manipulate behavior, which is how millions of otherwise good people can become Nazis, haters etc.) obviously instinctive pain (bees etc.)

Finally you have a mind – the mind is an amazing reality, for it is an independent observer of reality – and hence eventually all people with minds (vdal) will come to recognize that a higher reality also has a heart and his heart includes you and everyone else
