The soul of all

 

 

Everything contains a body and a soul

 

You can call it a subconscious and a conscious

 

The motivation for what goes on in our mind stems from a desire

 

So the soul is what causes a thought or a speech or action

 

Now obviously we have as the Alter Rebbe teaches three souls, mainly Divine – good, animal – self-orientated and we have a demon called ego namely an instinct to be superior and certainly not inferior to others
