The song of the messiah

By zevi770 · December 21, 2015

I knew it would come

Through the march to the gas chambers I sang your belief

Through the fires burning Jews for being such, we proclaimed your name

On the rivers of Babylon we knew it would be

Shehechianu Vikiemanu Vhiganu Lizman Hazeh

But wondered we did, how can it be?

Can a father see his child suffer needlessly

Is there no justice from the Divine judge

So now I come to answer thee:

You see, the day which has arrived I did see

For your future is like my past with infinite clarity

The unity, the joy, the oneness, internationally

This needed for man to abandoned their plans and folly

To let go of endless needless wars of jockeying

And through the very self reflection of your own stupidity

Through looking at women-hood for a grander harmony

Through men dropping swords and buying mushy romantic cards instead

Through not seeing the other as an other, but as me

Through democracies gift of unity, identification and a big family

Through reflection on the evil of tyranny, of me against you

Now all realize, and in truth, forever will be
