The universal purpose behind all the commandments is growth
Hence, generally they all actually achieve the same purpose; Namely when a human accepts a master above him or herself and obligates oneself to adhere to their master they in turn obviously become the servant.
The benefit of being God’s servant, is that we are composites of both selfless and selfish, including very vile, tendencies (when angered for example.)
By dissociating our own thoughts – products of our desires, hence depending on our desires, can be actually evil as human history apply demonstrates – Thus we will be good!
