The sages teach us that the only free person is one who studies Torah

 

How so? Doesn’t this enslave us to the commandments?

 

The answer is from the Zohar.

 

There are three rings that interlink Jews, God, and Torah; every ring has the inside and outside, though the outside they are separate entities (Jews, God, Torah) on the inside they are one.

 

What does this mean?

 

Simple.

 

The essence of the Torah, the essence of God and the essence of Jews are simply goodness and kindness, morality and justice, sensitivity and love
