The roving dimension of matter
By zevi770 · December 17, 2012
One of the most common assumptions, presumptions and hence delusions of man, is the immutability of matter.
Firstly, lets dissect this from purely a scientific perspective; all that we see is in a wave format,
only when you look at it does it become a particle; in other words, image the ocean, there are waves and stationary bodies of water; but the truth is, that these are one and the same; for if a wave hits a beach, it has traveled often thousands of miles, as the entire ocean is effected by the moons gravitational pull, hence the tides; so even what you see as stationary, is really moving, but you only see the movement when it comes up against something that stops it, hence the circular effect of the wave.
In an exact parallel, the entire universe is moving, but magically, as if it is alive, when you gaze at it – and this is a basic principle of observable science today – it stops; and like in Toy Story becomes in appearance a standard object which of course even if it is stopped it is still rotating on its own axis which is the basic trajectory of every atom; not to mention the mass of the atom is so negligible that all of matter – believe it or not can be condensed into a single mustard seed
and what you are feeling and seeing is merely like when a fan whizzes in a circle you experience it as if it is a singular image,
similarly it is only the cloud like formation of electrons as
well as their charge that creates both the visual effect of matter, as well as the tactile effect, which is also interpreted via nodes “wires” transmitting the electronic (not physical)
information / sensation of touch to the mind which creates the illusion / feeling of it; as is well known, that the mind contains a 3d image of the body, and when you feel something, you are not feeling it with your hand, rather your brain feels it and makes you think your hand feels it – which is why the frustrating situation of people who God-forbid have lost their hand can STILL GET AN ITCHY HAND!
So why do I share all of this with you my dear revered reader who must in some sense enjoy my writing if you are still reading, so I don’t feel as bad – the answer is, that this article is about the revolving dimension of matter – for matter is not dimension at all – as the Rebbe clearly teaches us, matter is God.
The “properties” of God is the ability of nimnah hanimnois, here but not here, within but beyond, the ability to be contradictory, for all rules come from him but he is subject to no rules; hence matter is a living consciousness – not to mention that it is really here and not here continuously, yesh me-ayin scientifically discovered – in any event.
Why is all of this important – should I not feel bad about your time? – as my father says, that when he speaks he imagines how many people there are, how long he is going to speak and considers if it is worth wasting all that time on his speech – well obviously of course this is a bit of an addiction which hence is selfishly not selflessly motivate – that being said, eureka, wow, whatever, it’s really amazing!
What is so eurekish wowish amazing?!
You see, all people, all religions, except for Chassidus / Kabbalah make the following mistake with catastrophic consequences namely that matter as it appears to be, as we mentioned, an assumption, presumption and hence delusion, is immutable – so what’s so bad about that – what’s so bad about that! – I’ll tell you what!
You see, when you think something is a painting, not a canvas, your real relationship with it becomes fixed – it’s either good or bad, you like it or hate it, you should look at it or you should throw it out, and most importantly, is it spiritually enhancing or degrading?
Whoever, would ever say, a canvas is good or bad? No, – rather, – a canvas is a canvas, white as snow, as untainted as a child’s naïve approach to information, waiting to be either encouraged, enhanced, built up, or God-forbid demeaned, destroyed and hence become dark and ugly.
Hence we need to realize that the canvas of time, space, matter within, and especially especially especially the souls born into their canvas, are inherently, white as snow, fresh as the newborn’s innocence, it is a flower waiting to blossom, and it is up to us to fill our souls with the love from the cherishedness, from the Divinely sacred task (no better example of this then the Lubavitcher Rebbe) hence we become the light source, the source of goodness, of love that imprints on the canvas of God’s NEUTRAL creation: love, humanity, humanness and most importantly we thereby – as the saying goes, light banishes darkness, brings the complete and total coming of the era when no man will cry, no heart will be broken, for the light of God, of Chassidus shall be the sole preoccupation of humanity- Amen V’amen!
