The Rebbe’s vision

If I have to imagine – a world, the Rebbe, whose vision, indeed includes every aspect and every person in the world – I believe it would be this:
First and foremost, a world in which every person realizes that they are not Darwin’s higher form of ape; each and every one of us, cherishes being created by God, in the image of God, for God; and in the case of the Jewish people, the actual light of God!
Hence, it is our first and primary duty to discover God’s will.
As usual, when Rebbes spoke to gentiles, sometimes they summed up Judaism most succinctly!
When CNN came by the Rebbe, asking for his message for the world, he said “Moshiach is on his way, but from our part we need to add in the realm of goodness and kindness!”
The Rebbe believed, we all need to add in goodness and kindness.
These words are more than just a sweet saying, they are the essence of God’s desire!
Firstly we must be positive, “Moshiach is on his way” means, the world is heading into the messianic utopia!
Secondly, from our part i.e. our mission is, to add in goodness and kindness!
Now, why not say, our mission is to DO goodness and kindness?
For it is not only our mission to do goodness and kindness, that is obvious; it is our mission to continually add, to always do more!
