The Rebbe’s Messianic Ideals
By zevi770 · June 3, 2013
From seeing what the Rebbe emphasized – of course, the Rebbe knew EVERYTHING – what will happen in the messianic age; we see the greatest part of the messianic age, and similar to how the Rambam states, the goal of the messianic age for the sages, was not to have rulership, prosperity, but the peace of mind to study Torah, i.e. connect to God, the Rebbe emphasizes the following messianic ideals: 1. We will realize the truth: we and the entire universe is in essence God. 2. We will continuously grow! 3. God himself will personally teach each and every one of us! 4. Jewish unity; every Jewish man woman and child will be miraculously – on clouds of glory – brought to Israel! 5. So much material goodness, that we get the virus of materialism out of our system, and completely desire a life of spirituality and happiness, love and growth!
