The whole goal of Torah is, the manifestation of God to become a personal God.
The way we manifest God as a personal God, is through Teshuvah.
To God, your past sins was only a means to your current repentance and connection; remember He created everything, including the challenges that made you fall, and the regret that makes you climb.
As God is infinite, therefore there is no evil that, not only you cannot repent from, but cannot cause from your repentance, a positive.
Because Teshuvah, means going out of a human limitation, therefore we effect, that the unlimited comes into the Limited.
