The Rebbe writes: From G-d’s perspective, good and evil are forces that are respectively constructive and destructive.

The problem is – this is my commentary – that as I read somewhere until the coming of the Moshiach there is mix in our intentions. In other words, our intent even for good is mixed with our intent for recognition which is ego which is destructive – just think of all the evil ego the forerunner of jealously hence hate, hence wars of destruction, both minor and major caused.

So the question is how do we rid ourselves of the evil – I recently wrote an article how one can see how despicable mixing in ego with goodness is, in Shmuley Boteachs repulsive anathema to Judaism’s new book Kosher Jesus, so here you have a good soul totally going against his own religion for the sake of recognition.

The answer – as I wrote to Shmuley – is to use a Mashpia, this means someone who guides you for the Mashpia doesn’t have your ego.
