The Rebbe teaches something quite extraordinary – the essence of the messianic era – which has begun – as the Rebbe said “Moshiach has been revealed” (in 1991) – is the merging of God’s essence into our world – now most of us make a fundamental mistake when it comes to understanding God – for we relate to our understanding of say a great human and say he is even greater (this is called anthropomorphization) – in truth, God is unlimited potential – as such, if God’s unlimited potential descends into our realms, what occurs is, that the best of everything descends! – even though they may be mutually exclusive realities – for a part of unlimited potential, is the potential to do anything, even merge mutually exclusive realities! – one simple example where we see how in the Messianic era we will have literally the best of everything, is the mutually exclusive qualities of tranquility and growth; for serenity is associated with, like going on vacation (holiday) doing nothing; whereas growth, is associated obviously with transformation – hard hard work – yet in the messianic era – a time called “The day which is complete Shabbos and rest!” – we will merit – due to God merging his infinite potential in our finite souls, this unbelievable miracle, that while life is one hundred percent tranquil – serenity unparalleled, we will simultaneously continuously ascend in our spiritual wisdom and personal growth!
