The reason there is evil, in other words, not vengeance (which of course is wrong) but unwarranted acts of violence, such as abusiveness, rape etc. is because people have been usually emotionally violated by someone and then they become jealous of those who still love themselves, which causes their mind to find excuses why good people deserve to be violated.
