In other words, there is a simple premise which explains all human behaivour and why it seems so confusing
As Rashi says, “people think others think about them as they think about others.”
A simple example of this is, that the Arabs couldn’t believe that the Jews didn’t annihilate them when we won all the wars – for they know that if they God-forbid won they would of.
So all you need to understand to understand reality is that either people love or hate people.
