The process of reality

One of the greatest conundrums for religious people is this simple equation: if God is all powerful, and God is good, why don’t we see the eradication of evil?!

In truth, we should ask a far better question: if God is good and he is the creator of everything, why did he create the Yetzer Hara, the satan, jealousy, which causes evil in the first place!?

In truth, I can’t give specifics, but the general rule which the Rebbe teaches reveals the process that God uses!

First and foremost, God like a parent creates a separate individual, a freely choosing human.

The very basis of free choice necessitates evil.

But of course, just as we happily give birth to our little tyrants, we also happily educate them, teach them, show them through role modeling that you can’t gab anything you want, you must exercise self-discipline, don’t hurt, bite, punch, in our belief, children give us the great satisfaction of growing up into people we are proud of!

Trouble for God, that he’s got to educate adults! People who think they’re smart, and know the truth already!

So therefore, after five thousand years of man experimenting with different social systems, world-wars etc. etc. they came to the belief; “hey, maybe we’re actually morons?”

This “moron realization” was a critical shift in humanities education!

For before man can learn, man must be humble, for no one, who is arrogant seeks wisdom – much like me : ) they focus on imparting it!

This moron realization, has led to the current explosion of new age mysticism, return to christinty, Judaism respectively, and here we find God’s ultimate intent, that man himself freely chooses what’s right over wrong, for when this choice comes from man, IT LIKEWISE REMAINS IN MAN!
