The Principles That Are The Truth Behind The Mask

By zevi770 · April 21, 2013

Masks are what our world is

Let’s analyze some of these masks and discover the truth behind it

The first mask, of course, is the world, our bodies, materiel matter itself; science of course teaches us, that it us all energy; Judaism – Chassidus teaches us, it’s all God!

If the eye was given permission to see – says the Alter Rebbe in Tanya – we would not see physical matter, but Godliness.

The next mask, ironically, is our self-perception.

Our very ego – our certainty that we exist, is in fact, a false image, for we too, are simply pure Godliness, but we identify with our body as being our life, though of course, it is no more like an avatar in a video game thinking that it is a real, true and independent being – of course, we are a composite of a body/energy/God, and a soul, which is also Divine (though of course, as it senses the material world as real and the spirit as amorphous, hence, it believes the material reality more than it believes the amorphous spiritual one, which is how God created us; for in order for us to exist, we need to have a perception of independence, which gives us freedom of choice.)

One of the most fascinating masks, is the delusions our desires create! you see, our brain is the slave of our desires! though of course, it would be ideal if it were the other way around (and what we need to strive for!) hence, the person who desires to believe that they are wise does so, the person who desires to believe they are beautiful does so, the person who desires to believe they are ugly or despicable (usually from having their self-esteem shattered by role models and hence confirming it for survival reasons) does so.

Nowhere is this clearer then in boys attitudes to girls, which changes as soon as certain hormones kick in and what was once a “cuties,” akin to contagious disease, becomes an object of obsession, to the extent that he loses his rationality!

However, no delusion creates a greater delusion then vengeance – when a person feels he needs to rectify a wrong – namely, his erroneously hurt pride – there is no force stronger then this desire, which transforms the entire world into whatever a person desires to see, in order to be able rationalize, justify, whatever evil s/he believes should occur to s/he who offended him (this is in fact the reason how antisemites – otherwise rational people, came up with such numerous ridiculous phony theories about Jews, for their ego that was shattered by their role models leaving them angry, and ego also creates delusions of grandeur to compensate, hence could not handle seeing the genuine self-respect, dignity, and happiness Jews possessed, hence the blood libel, protocols of elders of Zion, Nazi racial theory, current Arab propaganda that a Palestinian Nation existed, all are mechanisms in which to justify murder and worse towards those they wish to destroy – this is also the real motive behind the radicals causes, it is not FOR something, rather a justification, in which they can shame, abuse, demean … normal people, for it is JEALOUSY, which is at the heart of their worldview.)
