The principles for a happy marriage

As The Rambam teaches-  the husband must treat the wife like  a queen and she must treat him like a king, cherishing his desires.

As Kabbalah says, both should realize that they are two halves.

As Kabbalah says, the husband should realize that the financial blessings that God bestows are only in his wife’s honor.

As the Talmud says, that more than the man respects himself, must he respect his wife.

As the Talmud says, he must spend equally on his wife.

As the Rabbis instituted for there to be peace, the household chores are the wife’s duty.

As the Rebbe teaches, helping with those chores creates love.

As the Rebbe teaches, the core mechanism to having Shaloim Bayis / peace in the home, is to always act in mutual agreement ( which can only be based on give and take ” meeting each other half way”).

The Rebbe also says it is very beneficial for a couple to have a weekly Torah class together.
