The primary disposition Kabbalah / Chassidus teaches we must have

By zevi770 · July 15, 2013

Just as when we feel full, we don’t seek food, and when we feel hungry, we do; and just as it feels good to be full and lacking to be hungry; similarly, on one hand to be happy we must see what we have, but if we don’t feel a lack – sensing, that there’s more out there to be had – we, like the full person, just laze; hence the primary disposition Kabbalah / Chassidus teaches we must have, is joy over our incredible blessings, yet a sense of longing for the messianic era when infinitely greater blessings will be shared, and the reason this system is so vital, for if we just feel empty, we get up to all kinds of stupidities to fill that gap, but if we likewise feel full, we don’t progress!
