The power of motive (hence motivation)

Once upon a time, there were absolute rulers – they had no desire to ask anyone their desires – they ruled tyrannically.

Now we have elected politicians – but as our sages teach us – we are driven by motive.

This is so very very important to understand.

You see – if your motive is to get elected then you will do whatever it takes – Bill Clinton was a good example, as I read the book by George Stephonopolous, one of his primary Lieutenant’s, his entire motive was simply getting elected – that was the only thing that governed his policies which is why it was he who pushed banks to loan money without limits because democrats get elected when things are good (Republicans when people feel they need leaders).
