The New Voice

When God gave us the Ten-Commandments they weren’t etched in stone, rather, it was a voice (as is known, for only later did Mosses go up the mountain and come down with the stone tablets.)

But when it speaks about the event in the Bible, it says “a voice that never ended.”

Picture that moment

An entire nation – in fact, I met someone, who told me she has two memories from past lives (one from the holocaust) and the other of hearing the Ten-Commandments (it is most obvious, that probably her soul was in both places – she was born shortly after the holocaust and we know generations get reincarnated on, into the other; and secondly, all souls were at Sinia, however our generation is a reincarnation of the people who were actually there! in any event) her memory is that the voice penetrated the bodies (like sound waves pulsating into you – you can sort of get this feel, from loud rock n roll) – this also corresponds to what the sages teach, that the voice in Sinai had no echo, as it penetrated matter.

But here is the punchline, the voice on Sinai didn’t really exist – for what exists is definable – if it is God, at most it can be said to be an experience (for God cannot be limited.)

Hence we must realize, God never stopped.

Our existence has three realms – realm one, is the physical (which is simply our interaction through our senses with physical stimuli) the intelligent (hence our ability to marvel at ideas, for example, the greatness of God, or the structure of a galaxy etc.) but finally, the third is God.

Now as mentioned, God cannot be defined.

Hence, when we condense God into the intellectual, we lack the truth.

The truth is, God’s voice is always present.

Never mind that the world we feel is his game (like a programmer who created conscious players) never mind, all we discover intellectually is preordained (which is why our major discoveries in science and mysticism which make all past discoveries seem insignificant, was foretold in Kabbalah (that in the year 1840 God would open the floodgates of wisdom of above and below)) but most importantly, if we are experiencing these offcuts of the Divine, the Divine Himself must be fully present!!

And as the Rebbe says, the Divine is the interface, which is the transformative experiences, information; so when we are growing (which itself is a miracle, for nothing but us humans transform willingly – The Highest Has Merged!
