The mystical view of man

All is God, a soul is a part of God enclothed in a body – but as our identity forms before our knowledge, hence we see our self as being independent of God – intimately tied to our body.

The soul operates on the following simple mechanism: we love pleasure and hate pain, hence our mind comes up with mechanisms on how to achieve pleasure, and avoid pain and shame – when we believe in our mechanisms we then pursue them – however, as we have independent minds, we can regulate, change, alter, control our behaviors; including creating selfless loves and altruistic self-discipline; but the devil within, is ego, pride, vanity, for you cannot love someone you think you are greater than!
