The most important question of course is who exactly are we – well in the Mikvah today ( where all great epiphanies arise) I realized #1 we obviously firstly believe that we are #2 the person who thinks that you are is your brain ( for without a brain you can’t observe) #3 however that’s only half the story for we also think a rock, a tree, the moon is, but what’s critical to understand is that everything we observe we attach a number of possible labels – effectively they are good (meaning does this benefit I.e feel good) bad (meaning does this feel bad) or neutral (this is why we can get depressed, becuase when we see ourselves as not benefiting or even stupidly destroying our positive feelings, as the basic desire is feeling good and not bad, we then associate ourselves as bad)
