The modern world has its basis of course in democracy as opposed to dictatorship – this was introduced primarily through the French revolution, however there is a fundemental flaw, for whereas the French revolution extolled equality, its heart was not unity, rather the desire that the natural self expression should not be repressed (it is for this reason we see the lack of inhibitions often resulting in disgusting crudeness in democracies)
