The medrash says that we only give our best when we are crushed, like the oil of the olive which burns beautiful, but can only be extracted through being crushed – truly Chassidus teaches, that within everything that exists there is oil – yes oil is the taste and the warmth and light of the world – But for some reason, unlike all other properties it must be extracted through squeezing it out – you see if the whole world was light there would be no individuality (like if the sun would come close to the earth, everything would burn into – hence God made it, for our light, personality and productivity to truly exist, we must only get there through deliberate effort)
