The mechanism

By zevi770 · November 25, 2013

If we understand how we fit into God’s mechanism; well we understand how to flow!
God’s mechanism, as the Alter Rebbe and the Rebbe teach, is continual growth!

Now for growth to occur, three stages must happen, but even before these three stages comes, like the soil in which growth can sprout from, humility.

In other words, our sages teach, three, two thousand year periods, encompass human destiny.
The first, were the two thousand years of creation, the second, the two thousand years of Torah, and the third, the two thousand years of redemption.
However, just like for the Torah to truly penetrate our consciousness, and for us to leave our delusions and the opposing notion that we, not God/the Torah, is our master; took quite literally two thousand years, from its giving (the Torah was given in 2448 / 1330bce but technically it was begun by Abraham four hundred years earlier, hence only two thousand years later, during the second Temple era, did Jews properly integrated the Torah’s paradigm) Similarly, for the notion of redemption – infinite growth – to penetrate the soul, of openness to a new idea; had to be prepared.

Then comes the three repetitive stages of God’s vision/growth steps – the experiences we will go through to integrate this vision/growth step – and of course once it is integrated, we are now ready for the next growth, and this happens infinitely, so “let go and let God,” as they say in the classics.
