Who are you?

Believe it or not, you are pure God, like the Baal Shem Tov says, a Jew is similar to his father, teaching on the verse, that Isaac looked like Abraham, so to, the innate tendencies of the Jew, namely, compassion, love, kindness is the father!

But of course, we are created to see ourselves as independent – for otherwise, our actions would be meaningless, merely extensions of God!

Similarly, to imbue our choice with value, God gave us separate, I.E. not us but, attached, in, and hence appearing to be, instincts, which Kabbalistickly are literally demons whom implant these desires distracting us, for example, lust for pleasure, ego ambition etc. and hence now, we are torn
