The lessons from my belly button

 

 

A belly button effectively is a hole

 

There is a Chassidic teaching about holes

 

It states that when Josef was thrown into the pit there was no water in that hole

 

However Rashi the famous commentator explains that though there was no water, snakes and scorpions were there.

 

Hence the lesson, that our mind is like a hole, if we do not fill it with positive, contributing, self-affirming, and love for others thoughts, it will collect – like a belly button – all the negative.
