The lesson of my Menorah

I know you are meant to get new wicks, but I had to use my wicks from my last years Menorah, but as always there is something we can learn, for these wicks come in little metal cases that hold them in place and tonight for some reason they were constantly extinguishing; so I had to push out the wicks from their cases and lo and behold as there are more fire space to light on the wicks they are nice and bright – and the lesson is …. In life it is not enough to occasionally dip into light, only by surrounding ourselves with light can we ensure that the light we have found will never be extinguished!
