The Baal Shem Tov once went fund-raising, so he went to a Jew’s home and knocked on the door and left – so the Jew came running after the Baal Shem Tov to give him a donation!
We learn from this, as the Baal Shem Tov himself explained his behavior – a Jew must create a vehicle, through which God’s blessing will be fulfilled, the actual text of the verse, is “God will bless in all you do,” so I just did something, and hence God will bless my doing!
