The Kabbalah teaches, the world of falsehood, envy, greed, evil, corresponds to the world of truth

In The Ten Sefiros which is the fabric of both the cosmic and micro-universe; both the four universes beyond us in which God interfaces and creates; and our own world, namely, our own soul; we have these ten elements.

To understand this is to understand all.

Let’s begin with the four spirits / souls that inhabit us.

The first is the Divine – the Divine is selfless.

Hence its heart is love.

I don’t want to belabor the ramifications as they are extrapolated through all ten sefiros, for in essence, all that matters is the Divine is really (as you see in the image) Daas – Daas is Awareness – it is the intimate sensitivity, the feeling, the identification, the understanding, hence the respect, the unconditional regard, for the other.

Corresponding to this is the ten levels in selfishness.

Our Divine soul enters into an animal – this animal has the exact opposite – for its love is not outward, but inward. – As selfless as the Divine soul is, is as selfish our animal.   (Which is why as we have both, sometime we are giving, others, stingy.)

The interface between our Divine selflessness and animal selfishness (for the former is more an ideal, while the latter more real) is our mind.

The mind itself has these ten sefiros (levels) but more importantly, the mind is occupied with discovering – its quest for truth can lead it to understand that the only way to overcome selfishness – the most deeply rooted instinct – is by sacrifice –    This is a life long journey  – as our sages teach:   The righteous never rest, they continually ascend level after level! –  Ultimately a prisoner cannot free himself from a locked room –  Only by connecting to the Divine source – though your essence,  but as you are primarily the animal going to God – can we rise beyond our selfish addiction and phobias, desires and wants.

(Unfortunately this is all the good news, for implanted within us is also the satan, a pure unadulterated sadism; and when anger, its host, enters us; as we see with haters, the desire is not selflessness, not even selfishness, but simply the joy of sadism.)
