The irony of life is, that the more tough someone looks, the more afraid, hence to protect themselves – they create an aura of invincibility, meant to demonstrate "I can’t be hurt" – this is similar to when before a lion is going to chase a deer, it does a little dance (which those who study it hypothesis – it is says "look I have time.. don’t even bother")
