The infinite versus restricted paradigm

By zevi770 · March 28, 2013

I just realized something very profound

There are two paradigms so fundamental to how people see things that they alter our behavior almost exclusively in opposing trends

Let’s start with the good news

The infinite paradigm is when things seem abundant

When there are jobs for everyone, food for everyone, air and water and homes for everyone, and especially with the children of today growing up in a non-exclusivity to information, so there are no wiser and stupider people, for with google, it neutralizes this as well! hence people are not jealous of one another, as the Rambam speaks of the times of Moshiach, which have begun! in that day, the goodness will be abundant, hence there will be no envy nor wars! (as when the goodness is overflowing there is no jealousy; the perpetrator of all evil!)

On the other hand, how is it that people will God forbid (though it occurs regularly) kill someone for the latest Nike, to steal a phone etc.

This comes when someone grows up in the restricted paradigm

In this paradigm, where there is scarcity, people erroneously think, that there is a pot of gold somewhere (it is clear living in Africa how the government basically fleeces white business, thinking. that one can skim the fat, not realizing that income is generated not stolen!)
