The infinite God

 

 

God, is he greater than us?

 

A simple but actually infinitely important question!

 

Think about it…

 

Is God greater than you??

 

If you answer yes, you are one hundred percent delusional (no offense, we all get this wrong!)

 

As the Alter Rebbe says, certain things have no comparison, so you cannot say a rock didn’t understand the lecture!

 

To compare God to us, and say he is greater, is to make the anthropomorphic mistake, seeing God as a greater form of a human!

 

True infinity is not something, it is nothing! It is the potential for anything!

God neither is or isn’t! He rather is the ability for both; though of course he exists, his existence is so unlike ours, that we cannot compare it!

 

The ramifications of the infinite God versus the anthropomorphic God is astronomical!

 

Infinite God	Anthropomorphic God
Everything is Designed: from beginning to end! as well as, everything progressively gets better! both materially! and certainly spiritually! (so every loss is for a gain!!)	God may be greater, but is yet limited: hence there is only some who are loved! there is a limit on how much goodness he can bestow (hence people turning their religions into egos, for “if God loves us, he cannot also love them,” for there is a limit on his love and plan!)
God can traverse the expanse of the un-traversable bridge between the infinite God and finite man, hence can and will communicate individually with each person, in their own language, their own pace, for their greater and greater good!	God cannot traverse the gap fr0m the infinite to the finite, hence only some people have the ability to leave our realm for his and we need to exclusively follow them!
