The Human, Natural and Supernatural

By zevi770 · November 14, 2016

You see, I just studied an important teaching of the Baal Shem Tov that made me realize something extraordinary.

You see, the Baal Shem Tov teaches on the first word of the Torah, Breishis – in the beginning, which also means the beginning I.e. the purpose, and he says there are two beginnings, there is the physical creation and the Torah’s beginning.

In other words, generally speaking, there are three realities:

There is the physical.

There is the Divine.

And then there is the human.

Many people bury their heads in the physical (whether science or foolish pursuits such as agrandization, addiction, ego etc.)

Others bury their head in the supernatural, for it is also a highly addictive, interesting sphere.

But ultimately the quest must be to fulfill what God’s intent is.
