The hearts of husband and wife

The Rebbe teaches from Kabbalah/Chassidus, in all spheres there is a giver and a taker, now in marriage, the husband is the giver to the wife, but what happens in the giver / receiver dynamic is, the heart of the giver, waited upon by the receiver, is open, while the waiting heart is intrinsically closed, for it is waiting for the energy to flow from the giver to it, in order for it, like a closed flower, upon receiving rain, to blossom!
