The great goal for mankind is something so different, that no one has ever realized it, though it is inherent within Judaism – the great philosophical conundrum which we see played out in society after society, civilization after civilization, century, in fact millennia, after century/millennia, is: Do we give up our individuality for unity or do we give up unity for our individuality; but what if you could have both?! – What if individuality is enhanced unity – this happens when we have a dual approach – Yes, we can hold two ideas simultaneously, as they relate to two truths – On one hand, we must protect the individual’s liberties – every individual has rights, opinions, feelings – these are sacred. – On the other hand, we must acknowledge what we have in common! – We all have – as Judaism teaches us – a Divine Soul – we all have a duty to let the light of our Soul Shine
