The gps and drive of life

At my synagogue, once a stress expert came to talk and he said something worth repeating, stress is like the rpm on your odometer (or whatever it’s called) if we don’t have a little stress we don’t go anywhere, but that’s healthy stress, for it’s stress we can do something for, however, if we start revving dangerously close to the red, we are in serious threat of burnout, so the goal is, to, as Kabbalah/Chassidus teaches, on one hand we must know we have a gps, however, simultaneously we must know that if we don’t turn on the engine and drive, our best intentions are dead!
