The four steps to happiness

By zevi770 · March 29, 2016

Yes, thank-God I designed a simple four step program to happiness – it won’t be easy, but I guarantee this, it truly is (based on all my experience in life and study) the one and only way!

Step 1. The reason we are not happy has nothing to do with what we have – there are many people who have a lot, yet are unhappy – you included! – Relative to people living off a dollar a day as most Africans are, who are actually quite happy – you are far richer than a person who is a billionaire relative to you! Yes, both you and the billionaire are far less happy than the average African – the reason is, happiness is a product of expectation. When you have unfulfilled expectations, instead of being content, you become frustrated – it really is that simple!

So step Number 1,: is eliminate your desires – imagine (this is the most important part of the step) imagine downloading all your desires onto a harddrive and now press delete – make sure you do not feel a single desire for anything.

Step two – the other big killer is fear and anxiety – the only way to get rid of this is to believe that life is and will be good! for fear is obviously fear and anxiety over something possibly bad occurring. – Here is what you must do – Say every morning after you wake up ten times: “God Is Only Good! And He Only Does What Is In My Best Interest!” – Now a child who trusts that this is the case by their parents may not always like what they get, but they feel secure; security is the antidote to insecurity, namely fear and anxiety.

However Step 3 is to be humble; for when we conceive of a reality which is only good, we then start to lose touch with our sense of duty, responsibility and moral viewpoint (We get into a manic high in which we believe I can do anything.) So you need to say ten times “Without God’s guidance there is no evil I may not descend into” (which is true, for that is how all people did so.)

Step four is the most critical step, for without meaning in life, well your life will feel meaningless – we must have a purpose to our lives, something that makes us both actually engaged in reality and happy about the positive achievements we accomplish.

Step 4. Ask God to guide you – You do this by asking God and accepting the Kabbalistic doctrine that the first thought that comes to your mind after your request for his guidance is his reply.
