The four modes of existence

Did you know?
You did.
Great!
There are four modes of existence:
Generally speaking, each of us is overtaken by one of these modes, though particularly we have all.
The first mode is the mode of fantasy – we see this mode in children – while adults may laugh at the fantasies of children, it is fantasies that have changed the world, from the discovery of medicines to technology, to better ways of living –
Then there is the mode that adults often live in, the mode of fear – fear is the opposite of security – when a child is secure and has nothing to fear (worry about) his creative energies are used to fantasize – though these fantasies generally differ from men to women, as boys will have superman fantasies, how they will better or save the world; while girls have Mommy fantasies of the beautiful home, mother and children they will be/have.
However fear overtakes our creative side and we regress – in fact, neurologically fear increases cortisol and it bypasses our rational mind, the prefrontal lobes and the amygidila nuclia region, an almond shape cortex governing instinct reactions; then literally switches off our creative mind and we become focussss – this is some of the intensity we see in adults – a need to do “what will protect me from harm.” – now, while we make think fear is bad, this is not the case, for one cannot exist on fantasies, so the ability to focus out, like our mind’s ability to forget during the night and process desires that make us scatter our soul (for every desire sets up a fantasy (to get it)) hence this ability to zero-in on what’s most important, is a critical thing.
However, often the case is that fear becomes not, knowing – i.e., something “I should do or not do”; rather, it becomes anxiety – when fear is anxiety, it fundamentally robs us of joy, for when we are anxious, like the feeling of being chased, our mind is actively trying to get away – the cortisol literally eats away at the body, changing the very biological structure, adding more blood to the heart as we go into fight or flight – usually flight – mode.
The offshoot of anxiety is very very severe, for deep within us is an ego that believes, “I should be on top and certainly not on bottom”, so if the ego sees another who is on top and it isn’t fair – for example, while I don’t expect to be the teacher, I do expect not to be treated any worse than any other student – this is so fundamental to understanding us, for first we sum up “who I am” – so for example, “I am a student,” so now I would get upset if I was unfairly singled out – I don’t expect to be the teacher, however if I am a teacher and my expectation is that teachers get their way, I would feel angered if a student rebelled – taking this further, if I am a king and the expectations are that kings get their way, I would feel angered if disobeyed – however if I am (an American – not a radical, but someone brought up in America and understands democracy) President, then I wouldn’t be upset if someone doesn’t listen to me as I know they are free people – however, someone who I employ in my administration I would – so now you see, how expectation of ego leads to anger.
As we obviously will compare ourselves – based on whom we feel equal or superior to – this then angers us that others are not anxious, are not living in hell, while we are – this causes the horrid mode, which God took the time to write in stone, to “Not be jealous.”
The mode of jealousy, hate/anger is the very worst mode for a person to be in; for in every other mode a person can change, except in the jealous mode; for the person who is jealous doesn’t know they are jealous, for their mind doesn’t say “Shame / hurt that person because I am jealous” rather their mind says “Shame, hurt that person for they are evil.”
In truth, there is some good and some evil in all people – so when I am in the fantasy stage my natural inclination is for love hence I see the good in others (when in the fear stage, I see what should be avoided) but then when in the jealous stage my mind highlights the traces of ego = possible selfishness in others – hence hitler really believed Jews were evil, as do Arab terrorists, for their jealousy of the Jews (which is why they didn’t see evil in others, for they weren’t jealous of them) focused their mind to see evil – Once this evil is seen, the person then assumes it is their duty “holy duty / jihad” to God-forbid eradicate this evil – This is how bullies are formed – as we know, bullies are suffering from low self-esteem which is induced through having been shamed and the the subsequent fear of shame is very strong (in fact, as God gave women a greater mind – certainly from the perspective of seeing reality (vs. living in fantasy) this is why women have twice the rate of anxiety as men – generally, while living in anxiety, the way the mind figures it can survive is by trading – this is why John Grey discovered women see life as trades – hence, he suggests doing lots of small favors – but Chassidus goes infinitely deeper, it states that the job of a man apart from providing security – for it is impossible to calm down if one has fears – but to provide joy! for the power of joy is that it eliminates the pain of anxiety, and in the state of climax and love, a woman’s brain will stop seeing the evil in her husband – this has been empirically proven as John Gottman, the foremost researcher into marriages writes that 80& of divorce is based on women not being happy, “HENCE THEY BEGIN TO SEE PROBLEMS IN THEIR SPOUCE.”)
Then there is the state of objective reality – for the previous three modes are subjective – my emotion drives my fantasy, my fears, as well as God-forbid my jealousy – however when we objectively observe reality we begin to realize that reality does not begin with the observer, rather with the Creator of both the observer and the observation – it is not fair for me to claim wisdom, as I am merely repeating the awesome truth, study from Kabbalah, but Kabbalah begins with Abraham who wrote the primary book of Kabbalah, Sefer Yetzirah – to make a long story short, this book is built on the three fabrics of reality, namely: space-time (written four thousand years before Einstein’s discovery) and soul (a field which Kabbalah does and can quantify) within our expanding space-time universe (as discovered in the 2011 noble prize, namely, the increasing expansion of the universe and as Einstein writes, space and time are the same matter). There are four kingdoms – the dead, the vegetation the animal and the speaker/thinker – this is a big subject but fundamentally each soul – for all have a consciousness, though we may not see it (though this has been proven empirically as we can now see how water reacts to emotions) so each soul reacts emotionally – our fundamental gain is pleasure, our fundamental pain, is well, pain – However within us humans we have three souls – we have as mentioned a pleasure fantasy desire, a fear of pain, harm (shame) desire, and the ego which to some extent drives this, for as mentioned this is all subjective (it’s all about how “I feel”) however, we have two other souls, the first is the mind – so in contradistinction to an animal, we can also be objective (as long as we are not personally involved – stand nothing to gain or lose) The mind has an innate desire to know the truth for it is curious by nature, so our mind can lead us to the ultimate truth, namely, that in essence there is only God – all other realities are merely like gravity warps in the time-space continuum which allows for subjective existence – Now, who is God? – this is they greatest quandary of all? – I once met a German who told me “God is a God of order,” dare I say, Germans are people of order, hence they superimposed their vision of ideal onto God (need we mention that hitler believed as do hundreds of millions of Muslims that murdering Jews was God’s will) God, the Kabbalists tell us is the beauty in ourselves, is the truest truth – God obviously has no one to lie to – so he is absolute truth – and absolute truth is goodness and kindness.
