The Final Stage

The final stage
It’s very very important to understand the end goal.
One of the difficulties in being spiritual is that as God is beyond us, how spiritual is spiritual?
We have as we speak literally millions of people meditating, trying to bond with God but where does it end?
How do you know if you have bonded or if you haven’t ? – is this just an exercise in insanity?
The Rebbe revealed the end goal and once you understand this you understand as my friend a famous Cantor said that his needs in his cantorial renditions is to keep it simple. The K.IS.S. principle.
Because once you get to a level of proficiency you begin to seek things that really don’t matter. You begin to delve into realms which may be of interest to you but may not be of benefit both to you or to anyone else.
So the final frontier is actually what is called in Jewish mysticism Bittul, humility, but more accurately it is is translated, though it’s somewhat obscured through the translation as self nullification – meaning set yourself aside to simply fulfill God’s messages to you.
This of-course is the essence of Judaism – as the Jews said at the giving of the Torah “Naaseh Venishmah,” we shall first obey and then attempt to understand what we are doing.
Without this approach, a human being is liable to any kind of evil – the Nazis for example came from a wise and scientific civilized society – yet because they were not humble and had not nullified themselves to God’s message they were capable of unspeakable barbarity.
So understanding that the final frontier is not knowledge it’s not even Good-Deeds, rather it is simply setting myself aside and allowing God to work through me; not because of me, but despite me! as the AA saying “Let go and Let God” in this we have arrived.
